At Motor City DNA & Background Services LLC, we provide appointment-based mobile services and coordinate laboratory or screening orders. Because preparation and third-party fees may begin before an appointment, refunds are limited as described below.
A $50 deposit is required to secure an appointment and is applied toward the service total. The deposit is non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed, except if Motor City DNA cancels and cannot offer a suitable replacement appointment.
DNA and prenatal paternity testing fees are non-refundable after collection supplies are prepared or shipped, a collector is dispatched, samples are collected, or the laboratory order is submitted. Test results or relationship outcomes are not grounds for a refund.
Background-check fees are non-refundable once the screening order has been submitted to the screening provider. Final pricing depends on the searches and jurisdictions requested.
Quoted travel or mobile-collection fees are non-refundable once the collector has begun traveling to the agreed location.
